Overview

Personal Summary

Born and raised in the small town of Lima, Ohio I grew up with not too much to do. In an attempt to stay out of trouble I turned my focus to art, which later simply funneled down into design. Upon graduating high school I moved to Phoenix, Arizona where I went to The University of Advancing Technology and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Digital Multimedia with a focus in Web Design.

Currently I live in Chicago, IL where I work as a freelance web and user interface designer for a variety of clients all across the country. A variety of daily tasks for me include project management, front end development, web layout and design, print and graphic communication design, running email and social marketing campaigns, creating brand identities, managing statistics and analytics data, and perhaps most importantly being the household table tennis champion. I have provided creative design and development for an assortment of clients ranging from local charities all the way to multimillion dollar corporations including the Phoenix Children's Hospital, Pinnacle Security, SenoRx, Cafe Wa s, Doctor Finders, and others.

Outside of the Office

When I'm not busy at work I love spending my time outdoors, particularly mountain biking. Apart from web design I also enjoy listening to and creating music. I have been playing the drums for the past six years and at times I have even dabbled in guitar and audio recording. When I'm not working it is very possible you might find me at a Chicago Bulls basketball game, watching in hopes that one day soon they will bring another NBA Championship to Chicago.

Amusing Details

I am happiest when eating cupcakes, taking pictures at an aquarium, or hanging out with a Basset Hound. Currently I only have eight toe nails, of which my big toe nails are gone for life. Every weekend I go to Dunkin Donuts for a Boston Creme donut and an iced coffee. I'm not a fan of olives and my favorite color is orange.
