About King of the Streets

Tyler Vasquez, or more commonly known as the "King of the Streets," is a special event host and radio personality in the state of Arizona. He currently provides pre-game entertainment for the Suns, Cardinals, and Diamondbacks, and he also appears at large events including (but not limited to) "Big Boys and Their Toys: Arizona's Original Men's Expo," Macy's Back to School Night and Fashion Show, and Macy's 150th Birthday Bash.

What I Did

Tyler came to me needing a custom logo and design that would capture his identity and well-known radio personality. He also wanted to use the new logo for printing and duplication, so I needed to create something crisp with minimal detail so it would look just as professional on other mediums. To do this, I designed a simple yet entertaining image of a burly man dressed as a renaissance knight. This showed Tyler's strong personality in a comical, yet friendly way that draws in new fans and acknowledges those who have followed Tyler for years. Tyler now uses this design on his MySpace page and other materials for immediate brand recognition.
